Twist and knot Styles
Twist hairstyles are often considered traditional special occasion hair styles. The traditional
twist or French twist is most commonly seen, I have been working to create new ideas with
the twist; the Hollywood twist is my take on the traditional French twist, the messy French
twist and working with twisting sections of hair creating interesting buns. Rossets and
temporary dreads are considered twist styles as well. Knots are another variation of
twisting and working with sectioned hair. Knot work is more ornate and can be used to
create renissance hair. Knot work may also be combined with braiding to create texture in
hair design.
